MATHCOUNTS
It's that time of year again... The Palm Beach County MATHCOUNTS Competition will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Gulfstream Middle School. The event will feature verbal and written mathematics competitions for local middle school students with the top teams and individuals proceeding to the State MATHCOUNTS competition in Orlando next March. Last year's local competition included 129 students from 20 different schools, and we look forward to increasing the participation for 2012. The MATHCOUNTS committee is currently organizing the event and is in need of corporate sponsorships to fund the competition, donated promotional items for use in the students' goodie-bags, and volunteers for the day of the competition.
If you are able to provide any of the needed items or would like additional information about the local MATHCOUNTS program, please contact Arnoldo Artiles arnoldo.artiles@kimley-horn.com
